This model is patterned on a corn stem to show the general anatomy of a monocot in both longitudinal and cross sections.  Features such as the cuticle layer, epidermis, closed vascular bundles, parenchyma cells, and others are clearly shown.  This injection molded model is more durable than the more common fiberglass construction.  Detailed Key included.
